Hamar is a town with just over 28.000 inhabitants, located in the inlands of Norway by the largest lake in Norway, Mjøsa, in Hedmark county. If you visit Hamar you may want to visit these attraction:
– Domkirkeruinene (cathedral ruins) and nearby buildings
– The Olympia Hall, Vikingskipet (a part of the 1994 winter Olympics in Lillehammer)
– The Norwegian national railway museum (Norsk Jernbanemuseum)
– Take a trip on PS Skibladner on the lake Mjøsa (the largest in Norway) is the world’s oldest paddle steamer in scheduled service.
